NOTICE OF APPLICATION
Pursuant to Section 50.45.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided:

Walker Road Widening – Schendel to 173rd
Washington County is seeking approval of a Public Transportation Facility application and a Sidewalk Design Modification applications for a project to widen Walker Road from Schendel St. to 173rd Ave. The applicant proposes to widen Walker Road to a five lane cross-section (two travel lanes in each direction and a center turn lane) and provide bike lanes and sidewalks along the length of the project. Minor improvements to the intersecting streets will also occur as a part of this project.
To be addressed in the staff report, written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2016. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Beaverton Planning Division, 4th floor, Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Note that City Hall will be closed on January 18 in honor of Martin Luther King Day.
The decision-making authority for the above application is the Community Development Department Director. Any decision on the above development application shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in Development Code Sections 40.03 Facilities Review, Section 40.57315.1.C Public Transportation Facility, and Section 40.58.15.C Sidewalk Design Modification.
Pursuant to Section 50.40.10, the Director shall issue a written decision on the above development application on or about Wednesday, February 24, 2016.
