BUILDING DIVISION FEE SCHEDULES INFLATION ADJUSTMENT

The Newberg Building Division fee schedules will be adjusted to account for inflation effective April 1, 2016. Newberg Municipal Code authorizes the city manager to approve building division fees by executive order to reflect changes in the consumer price index. The consumer price index has risen by 1.8% since the last adjustment made in December 2014. Accordingly, the city manager is expected to adjust the Building Division fee schedules by 1.8%. The change also establishes a minimum charge of $79.77 for most permits and makes various minor changes to the fee schedules.

This change will be effective for any permit submitted after March 31, 2016.
