The Wetlands Conservancy is soliciting bids for The Poole Slough Fish Passage Restoration. The scope of the project is included in the Poole Slough Fish Passage Restoration Drawings and Specifications, Revised March 4, 2016. The project is located in Poole Slough, a natural channel on the south side of the Yaquina River Estuary, near Toledo, Oregon. The goal is to re-establish natural processes and functions to provide self-sustaining unobstructed habitats for native migratory fish and other fish and wildlife species. The project will remove most of a 1,400-foot-long dike excavate approximately 500 linear feet of pilot channels to improve fish access to the extensive distribution of tidal channels at high tides and storm events.
