NOTICE OF APPLICATION
Pursuant to Section 50.45.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided: DR2016-0032, TP2016-000S, LD2016-0006 (Sunset Gardens Multi-Family) The applicant, seeks Design Review 2, Tree Plan 2 and Replat for Lot Consolidation approval to consolidate six existing lots into one, remove approximately 47 community trees greater than IO-inches in diameter and construct a 249,616 square-foot, five-story 210-unit multi-family housing development and a 125,775 square foot parking garage with a 299 vehicle capacity. The site is located along W. Baseline Road between SW 158’11 Avenue and 160’11 Avenue. The site is also described as Tax Lots I 00, 200, 300, 1800 and 1900 on the Washington County Tax Assessor’s Map IS105CB. The total site is approximately 2.99 acres.
The Beaverton Facilities Review Committee will hold a technical meeting with the applicant on the above development applications on April 20, 2016. The Facilities Review Committee will review the above application based on its conformity to the technical criteria specified in Section 40.03 of the Development Code.
To be addressed in the staff report and decision, written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday April 20,
2016. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, Beaverton Building/City Hall, 12725 SW Millikan Way.
The decision-making authority for the above application is the Community Development Director. Any decision on the above development application shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in Design Review Two: Beaverton Development Code Section 40.90.15.2.C, Tree Plan Two: Beaverton Development Code Section 40.20.15.2.C and Replat for Lot Consolidation: Beaverton Development Code Section 40.45.15.2.C.
Pursuant to Section 50.45.18, within seven (7) calendar days from the date the decision making authority adopts a land use order, the Director shall cause the order to be signed, dated, and mailed to the applicant and the property owner.
