CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING

UPDATE TO THE 2016 TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM PLAN AS A SUPPORT DOCUMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO ADDRESS REGULATORY CHANGES AND PROVIDE CONSISTENCY WITH THE TRANSPORTATION PLANNING RULE AND THE METRO 2040 REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION PLAN.
The West Linn City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 14, 2016, starting at 6:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 22500 Salamo Road, West Linn, to consider adoption of the 2016 Transportation System Plan, a support document to the Comprehensive Plan, that addresses regulatory changes and provides consistency with the Transportation Planning Rule and the Metro 2040 Regional Transportation Plan.
The hearing will be conducted in accordance with the rules of CDC Chapter 98, 100 and 105. Anyone wishing to present written testimony on this proposed action may do so in writing prior to, or at the public hearing. Oral testimony may be presented at the public hearing. At the public hearing, the City Council will receive a staff presentation, and invite both oral and written testimony. The City Council may continue the public hearing to another meeting to obtain additional information, leave the record open, or close the public hearing and make a recommendation on the request as provided by state law. Failure to raise an issue in person or by letter at some point prior to the close of the hearing, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue, precludes an appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA) based on that issue. At least 10 days prior to the hearing, a copy of the proposed amendment and associated staff report will be available for inspection and also on the City’s web site at https://westlinnoregon.gov/planning/transportation-system-plan-update. In addition, the file, MISC 12-03, Transportation System Plan Update, containing the proposed amendments and related information is available for review at the Planning Department.
