ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ROOF
REPLACEMENT
CAMAS, WA
Bids due: April 28, 2016 @ 2:00 pm
Sealed bids will be received by Camas School District at the District Office, 841 NE. 22nd Ave, Camas, WA 98607, for the Dorothy Fox Roof Replacement Project. Bids will be received on Form of Bid until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016, stamped in and held. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Camas School District Office immediately after the bid closing time, at which time all interested persons are entitled to attend the bid opening. Bids received after the time noted will not be considered.
A mandatory pre-bid conference for Contractors interested in bidding this project will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday April 20, 2016, at Dorothy Fox Elementary School, located at 2623 NW Sierra St, Camas, WA 98607.
Bid documents will be available to view and/or download beginning on April 13, 2016 at Precision Images and Daily Journal of Commerce (DJC). Prospective bidders can call Precision Images at 503-274-2030 or DJC at 503-226-1311 with any questions about setting up an account or viewing the documents. In addition, arrangements can be made to view printed copies of the bid documents by calling the Camas School District Capital Programs Office at 360-335-3000, Ext. 78218.
No Bid will be considered unless it is in complete accordance with the instruction to bidders, and is submitted on the official bid form provided to prospective bidders (included in the bid documents). Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid amount, excluding applicable State of Washington taxes. Bid security shall be forfeited as damages should the Bidder neglect or refuse to enter into a Contract and provide a suitable bond for performance/payment for labor and materials.
Bidder’s attention is directed to State and Federal laws concerning wages, working hours and other conditions of employment and all requirements for public works construction. Contract is subject to Washington State L&I Prevailing Wage Rates effective on Bid date.
The Board of Directors of Camas School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof and waive any informality or irregularities. The right is reserved by the Camas School District to postpone contract award for the period of thirty (30) days after the bid opening. The Camas School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer. No bidder may withdraw the bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days.
