Notice of Budget Committee Meeting
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Canby, Clackamas County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017, will be held at City Council Chambers, 155 NW 2nd, Canby.
The meeting will take place on April 28, 2016 at 6:00 pm and will be continued on May 5, 2016 at 6:00 pm and May 12, 2016 at 6:00 pm, as necessary the meeting may be continued to May 19, 2016 and May26, 2016 at 6:00 pm.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. The budget message and an overview of the budget document will be received at the first meeting. The General Fund will be discussed at the second meeting; all other funds will be introduced at the third meeting with further discussion on any fund as needed at the additional meetings. The meeting in which public comment will be heard will be on May 12, 2016 at 6:00 pm at City Council Chambers, 155 NW 2nd, Canby; as desired by the budget committee public comment may also be heard at additional meetings if held. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 29, 2016 at City Hall, 182 N. Holly, between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
