Vacation of Public Right-of-Way

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the City of Cornelius City Council on Monday May 23, 2016 at 7:00 PM in the City of Cornelius Council Chambers at 1310, N. Adair Street, Cornelius, Oregon to consider the following:

Request: Vacation of two Public Rights-of-Way through the adoption of an Ordinance by City Council.

Location: A portion of the N. Davis Street cul-de-sac
which is located west of N. 10th Avenue and a section of public right-of way that is approximately 70.17’ x 10’ (701.70 sq. ft.) in size, located just east of Lot #43 of the Cedar Terrace Subdivision.

Applicant: The City of Cornelius

Criteria: ORS 271.130 (Oregon Revised Statutes),
Chapter 18.147 of the City of Cornelius Development Code & ORS 271.080 (Oregon Revised Statutes)

At the time and place listed above all persons will be given a reasonable opportunity to give testimony either for or against the proposal. Testimony may be either in oral or written form and must be relevant to the criteria listed above on which the proposal will be evaluated. At the public hearing, the Mayor will open the public hearing and a staff report will be presented. Interested persons will be allowed to speak for or against the proposal or to ask questions, and Council members will ask any general questions. Following this, the public hearing will be closed.
