Proposals for the Portland International Airport, Shuttle Bus Surveillance Camera, GPS Tracking, and Stop Announcement Systems Procurement will be received by the Manager, Contracts and Procurement, of The Port of Portland, 7200 N.E. Airport Way, 8th floor, Portland, Oregon 97218 (mailing address: Post Office Box 3529, Portland, Oregon 97208) until, but not after, 3 p.m. on May 18, 2016.
Description of Work:
Furnish and install a camera surveillance system with DVR, a live GPS tracking system, and an automated destination sign and stop announcement system in 24 Eldorado EZ Rider airport shuttle buses. Provide training to Port staff and end users for all systems specified.
Contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers are strongly encouraged to register through the Port’s online bidding system, which can be accessed at www.portofportland.com under “Business Opportunities.” All firms can view current business opportunities. Registered firms may receive electronic notification of Port solicitations, and have access to view, download, or request copies of solicitations, addenda, and solicitation-holders lists.
Questions must be submitted electronically using the “Q&A” feature in the Port’s online bidding system.
The RFP may be examined at Port offices (address above); however hard copies are not available. Registered firms may download the RFP through the Port’s online bidding system.
The Port is committed to increasing small business participation in Port contracts. For fiscal year 2015- 2016, the Port’s overall small business participation target is 16 percent participation of small businesses as a percent of contract dollars awarded directly and as subcontracts; and 30 percent participation of small businesses as a percent of the total number of contracts awarded directly and as subcontracts. While there is no specific small business participation goal for this project, the Proposer’s ability to help the Port achieve its overall small business participation target will be considered during the Port’s evaluation of proposals. Proposals may be rejected if not in compliance with specified procedures and requirements. Any or all Proposals may be rejected if in the public interest to do so.
