INVITATION TO BID: CRACK SEALING WORK PROJECT 916
SILVERTON, OR
Bids due: May 24, 2016 @ 2:00 pm
The City of Silverton is seeking bids from qualified contractors to crack seal approximately 51000 lineal feet of pavement on 193 street segments within the city limits. A portion of the crack sealing is in preparation of slurry sealing and overlays that will take place at a later time. Sealed bids will be received on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, until 2 PM, local time. Bids will be publicly opened and read in the City Hall conference room.

Copies of Bidding Documents may be picked up at the City of Silverton, City Hall, 2nd Floor, 306 S Water Street, Silverton, Oregon 97381. All contractors who intend to submit a Bid shall contact Kathy Franz at 503-873- 8679 or by email at kfranz@silverton.or.us to be added to the plan holder list. Parties requesting that Bid Documents be delivered by mail are required to pay a non-refundable $25.00 to the City of Silverton for shipping and administrative time.
This Project requires compliance with ORS 279C.800-279C.870. This ITB and the resulting Contract are subject to the following Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) wage requirements, which are incorporated by reference: January 1, 2016, Prevailing Wage Rate Booklet, and April 1, 2016 amendments.
Bids must be submitted on the prescribed forms and must be accompanied by certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond executed in favor of OWNER in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. The City of Silverton reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements, and to reject for good cause all bids upon finding of the agency that it is in the public interest to do so.
