NOTICE OF APPLICATION
Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided:
LD2016-0008 west hills development 3-Lot Partition
The applicant requests Preliminary Partition approval for a proposed residential 3 lot partition. The undeveloped site is located within both the City of Beaverton and the City of Tigard. Tax lot 200 is 54.87-acres, with 53.62 acres located within the City of Beaverton, and the remaining 1.25 acres within the City of Tigard, and is located south and north of SW Scholls Ferry Road and SW Roy Rogers Road on the east side of SW 175th, with a small portion on the southwest side of SW Roy Rogers Road. The property is identified as 2S1W 6 Lot 200 of the Washington County Assessor’s Map. The site is within the R1 Residential Urban High Density, and R2 Residential Urban Medium Density zoning districts of the City of Beaverton, and the R25 zoning district of Tigard’s River Terrace Community Plan area, and within the Neighbors Southwest Neighborhood Association Committee of the City of Beaverton.
Any decision on the above development proposal shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in the following sections of the City of Beaverton Development Code: 40.03 Facilities Review, 40.45.15.4.C Preliminary Partition (Type 2), and from input from the City of Tigard per an Inter-Governmental Agreement between the Cities of Beaverton and Tigard.
The Facilities Review Committee Meeting with the applicant will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016. The Facilities Review Committee is not a decision-making body but advises the Director on a project’s conformity to the technical criteria specified in Section 40.03 of the Development Code of the City of Beaverton. The Facilities Review Committee meeting is open to the public, but is not intended for public testimony.
Written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016, in order to be addressed in the staff report. Failure to raise an issue or failure to provide statements or evidence with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Current Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, the Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.
The Director is the decision-making authority for the above application and shall issue a written decision on the above development proposal on or around Wednesday, June 29, 2016, pursuant to Section 50.40.10. Copies of the staff report will be made available on the City’s website or may be purchased at the Planning Division Counter for a reasonable cost.
