CALL FOR BIDS: GROVE FIELD, C-ROW & FBO HANGERS

Notice is hereby given that the Port of Camas / Washougal will be receiving bids for the development of GROVE FIELD, C-ROW & FBO HANGARS, located at the Grove Field Airport, 632 NE 267th Avenue, Camas WA 98607. The project will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following; the construction of a 9,450 square foot (footprint) and another 6,000 square foot (footprint) pre-manufactured metal hangar buildings, along with requisite site, utility and landscape improvements. The General Contractor is to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to construct the project, including concrete work, metals, wood, thermal and moisture control, doors and windows, finishes, mechanical, electrical and incidental related work.

A $100.00 deposit is required, which is refundable upon returning the specifications manual and plans in good condition within 5 days after bid opening. All bids must be sealed and received at the Port office located at 24 South A Street Washougal, WA by 3:00 P.M., August 16, 2016. The bids will be publicly opened and read at 3:00 P.M., August 16, 2016 at the Port offices.
There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid conference at 10:00 AM, July 28, 2016 at the Port office located at 24 South A Street Washougal, WA. The Architect and Port Representatives will attend the meeting to discuss the scope of the project.
Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, with surety accept able to the Port of Camas / Washougal, for 100% of the contract price. All contractors must file and comply with the prevailing wage laws of the State of Washington, and pay all associated fees. The Port will comply with the statutory retainage requirements for public works contracts.
Bids may not be withdrawn or cancelled by the bidder for a period of 60 days following the bid opening. The Port of Camas / Washougal reserves the right to accept or reject all bids.
