INVITATION TO BID: SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL
WHITE SALMON, WA
Bids due: July 20, 2016 @ 4:00 pm
Sealed bids will be received at White Salmon City Hall, located at 142 E. Jewett Boulevard, White Salmon, WA 98672, until 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 20th, 2016 for the City of White Salmon, Safe Routes to School Project. The project includes construction of 1857 LF of curb and gutter, 623 SY of sidewalk, 171 SY of concrete driveway approaches (within ROW), 9 new ADA pedestrian ramps, re-marking of multiple crosswalks and associated existing pavement demolition and repair.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on, Friday, July 15th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the office of Bell Design Company, located at 900 W. Steuben, Bingen, WA 98605. Statements made by Owner or Owner’s representatives at the conference will not be binding upon the Owner unless confirmed by written Addendum. The meeting will conclude with a site visit.
Bidding documents for the project were prepared by Bell Design Company.
Availability of Bidding Documents: Bona fide general contractors may obtain the contract documents at the office of Bell Design Company, located at 900 W Steuben, Bingen, WA 98605, (509) 493-3886 at a cost of $25 per plan set.
Bid Security: A certified or bank cashier’s check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, payable to the City of White Salmon, or bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company is required with each bid.
Rejection of Bids: The city shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding document or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular.
