NOTICE OF BALLOT TITLE
Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Resolution 614-2016 approved by the City Council on July 12, 2016, the City will submit to the qualified voters of the City of Hubbard for their approval or rejection at the election held on November 8, 2016 the question of: Shall Hubbard impose a three percent tax on the sale of marijuana items by a marijuana retailer? The City’s election officer has received the ballot titles for this measure and it is available for review at 3720 2nd Street, Hubbard, OR 97032 and on the City’s website, www.cityofhubbard.org. Pursuant to ORS 250.296 an elector may file a petition for review the ballot title not later than the seventh business day after the title has been filed with the city elections officer. A challenge to the ballot title in this notice must be filed in Marion County Circuit Court no later than July 28, 2016.
