REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE BIDS: FIRE STATION RENOVATION
WILLIAMS, OR
Bids due: July 27, 2016 @ 3:00 pm
The Williams Rural Fire Protection District (“District”) requests sealed competitive bids to renovate a fire station located at 211 E. Fork Road in Williams, Oregon. The targeted date for completion is November 30, 2016.
Bids will be received by first-class mail at William Rural Fire Protection District, P.O. Box 81, Williams, OR 97544, or by email at chief@wrfpd.org, until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Subcontractor disclosure forms, if required, must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27. Any Bid or subcontractor disclosure form received after the specified time will not be considered. The Bid must be submitted on the Bid Form provided in the bid documents.
Bids will be publicly opened at approximately 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27. The date of contract award is projected to occur on August 5, 2016.
This project is a public improvement subject to the provisions of Oregon Revised Statutes (“ORS”) chapter 279C. District cost estimates indicate that this project will be subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions required by ORS 279C.840, and the security provisions and first-tier subcontractor disclosure requirements of ORS chapter 279C.

The contract, if any, will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, based upon the competitive bid price provided on the Bid Form, and subject to the provisions of the Bid Documents.
The District reserves the right to reject any Bid not conforming to District specifications or with Oregon’s public contracting laws; or to reject all Bids and to cancel this procurement.
