REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: ON-CALL
ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING SERVICES FOR REGULATED BUILDING MATERIALS

Sealed solicitations for the provision of on-call environmental consulting services for regulated building materials will be received at the office of the Manager, Contracts and Procurement, of the Port of Portland, 7200 NE Airport Way, Portland, OR 97218 (mailing address: Post Office Box 3529, Portland, Oregon 97208) until the time indicated above.
The Port of Portland (Port) is seeking proposals from experienced firms and individuals capable of providing On Call Environ mental Consulting Services for Regulated Building Materials.
Regulated building materials at Port facilities may include asbestos, lead containing paint, polychlorinated biphenyl-containing materials and equipment, and mercury- containing devices. The Port may also require assistance with evaluating conditions and risks associated with common building contaminants such as mold and radon, and evaluating potable water quality. The Provider’s team should include Certified Industrial Hygienists, AHERA-accredited asbestos inspectors; PA/OHA-accredited lead paint inspectors; NVLAP and NLLAP-
accredited analytical laboratories; and be qualified to provide surveillance, bulk material sampling and analysis, water sampling and analysis, air quality monitoring and analysis, abatement design and oversight, program auditing, training, and emergency response services.
