The Oregon Zoo, a Department of Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is requesting proposals for Booking, Production & Promotion for Summer Concert Series at the Oregon Zoo.
Sealed proposals are due no later than close of business, August 25, 2016, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Kim Bardes, Procurement Analyst, RFP 3204.
Metro is seeking proposals from qualified firms to book, promote and produce no fewer than 16 concerts for each of the next three summers – 2017 to 2019. Concerts will feature artists who have toured nationally outside of Washington, Oregon and Idaho, received radio play in other major markets, and have sales in other regions of the US, and capable of drawing significant attendance (3,000-4,000 people). The Zoo may request contractor support for identifying and booking artists for smaller events and occasional catered events.

Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
