NOTICE OF APPLICATION
Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided:
DR2016-0092 (Canyon Road Chevron Canopy)
The applicant is seeking to replace an existing gas station canopy with a new, larger canopy on a .21 acre site. The use of the site is not proposed to change. The new proposed canopy will be larger in size but will look similar to the existing canopy. The rest of the site is proposed to remain unaltered. The address of the site is 11520 SW Canyon Road, also described as tax lots 00300 and 00301 of Washington County’s Tax Assessors tax map 1S115BA.
To be addressed in the staff report and decision, written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 07, 2016. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the City of Beaverton Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, Beaverton Building/City Hall, 12725 SW Millikan Way.
The decision-making authority for the above application is the Planning Director. Any decision on the above development application shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in Design Review Two: Beaverton Development Code Section 40.20.15.2.C and Facilities Review: Section 40.30.
Pursuant to Section 50.45.18, within seven (7) calendar days from the date the decision making authority adopts a land use order, the Director shall cause the order to be signed, dated, and mailed to the applicant and the property owner.
