NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Board of County Commissioners for Columbia County, Oregon, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at or after 10:00 a.m. in the Board of County Commissioners’ Meeting Room, Room 308, 230 Strand Street, St. Helens, Oregon.
The purpose of this hearing is to consider a resolution to provide a homestead exemption for surviving spouses of public safety officers specified in SB 1513 (2016) or as specified in such law as hereafter amended.
The proposed resolution will become available for viewing one week before the hearing on the Columbia County Board of Commissioners website at http://www.co.columbia.or.us/departments/board-of-commissioners/board-of-commissioners-boc-meetings or copies may be obtained at the Columbia County Board of Commissioners’ Office at a reasonable cost.
This is a public hearing. Interested persons may appear and be heard.
