INVITATION TO BID: 2016 SIDEWALK AND ADA RAMP ENHANCEMENT CIP2016-S15

Sealed proposals for 2016 Sidewalk and ADA Ramp Enhancement project will be received at the City of Milwaukie Community Development Office located at 6101 SE Johnson Creek Boulevard, Milwaukie, OR 97206 until 2:00 p.m. on October 6, 2016, at which time the sealed proposals will be publicly opened and read. Proposals received after 2:00 p.m. shall not be considered.
The project generally consists of upgrading existing curb ramps and sidewalks along SE Van Water Street from SE 30th Avenue to SE 32nd Avenue as well as adding curb ramps and sidewalks to provide connectivity at the intersection of SE Lake Road and SE 38th Avenue.
The Contract Documents may be examined or obtained for no cost at the City of Milwaukie, Community Development Office located at 6101 SE Johnson Creek Boulevard, Milwaukie, OR 97206. The Contract Documents may be obtained by standard mailing upon request for a fee of $25.00.
All proposals shall be submitted on the furnished Bid Submission Packet in a sealed envelope plainly identifying the project name, project number, bid opening time and date, bidder’s name, and contractor’s license number. Sealed proposals shall be addressed to Rick Buen, Civil Engineer, City of Milwaukie, Community Development, 6101 SE Johnson Creek Boulevard, Milwaukie, OR 97206. All proposals shall be submitted in the prescribed form and said manner as indicated in the Information for Bidders. Proposals shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond executed in favor of the City of Milwaukie in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount.
No proposal will be considered unless the proposal contains, or is accompanied by, a statement by the bidder that the provisions required by ORS 279C.840 pertaining to prevailing wages shall be included as part of the Contract.
