NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

1. The Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at or after 10:00 a.m. in Room 308, the Commissioners’ Meeting Room on the Third Floor, Columbia County Courthouse, 230 Strand Street, St. Helens, Oregon.

2. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the Planning Commission’s recommendation to approve a Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment and Zone Change – Map Amendment from Primary Agriculture (PA-80) to Surface Mining (SM) for an approximately 153-acre property located immediately south of the approved and permitted Bates Roth aggregate site and north of the Evans Slough and described in the County Assessor’s records as Tax Map ID Nos. 4N1W32-00-01000, 4N1W33-00-00500 and 3N1W05-00-00100.

3. All interested parties may appear and be heard. The location of the hearing is accessible to the disabled. 5. The hearing will be held according to the procedures established in the Columbia County Zoning Ordinance.
