Nature of Application and Proposed Legislative Code Amendments:
At the above time and place, the Lake Oswego City Council will receive public testimony concerning proposed updates and revisions to Chapters of of
the Lake Oswego Code relating to parking and placing objects in streets, backflow prevention device testing, sewer connections, local street widths,
clear sight triangle encroachments, street encroachments, sign bands, correcting Code cross-references for Tree Permit procedures, and adding
provisions requiring notice of dwelling demolitions.
These updates and revisions would be implemented through the adoption of Ordinance 2727, which will be considered at the public hearing. The title of
the ordinance is as follows:

An Ordinance of the Lake Oswego City Council Clarifying, Revising, and Updating LOC Article 32.06 (Parking; Storing Vehicles and Placing Portable
Outdoor Storage Units or Dumpsters in Street; and Truck Routes), LOC 38.12.126 (Backflow Testing), 38.18.305 (Sewer Connection), 42.03.010 (Local
Street Width), 42.03.130 (Clear Sight Triangle Encroachments), 42.18.1010 (Street Encroachments), 47.10.410 (Sign Bands), 47.10.412 (Sign Exception
in EC Zone), and 55.02.035 (Tree Removal in Conjunction With Development Permit); and adding LOC 45.12.100 (Notice of Dwelling Demolitions).
Copies of the Ordinance will be available from the City Recorder one week before the hearing.

Time Limits on Testimony:
The purpose of time limits on testimony is to provide all interested persons with an adequate opportunity to present and respond to testimony while
at the same time ensuring that the hearing can be conducted in an efficient and expeditious manner. The following time limits on testimony shall be
observed, but may be changed by the Council:
• 10 minutes for a representative of a recognized neighborhood association, homeowner association, government agency, or other incorporated
public interest organization;
• 5 minutes for other persons.
