REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: ARCHITECT SERVICES

Central School District of Monmouth – Independence, Oregon is requesting proposals from qualified architect firms interested in providing architectural and project planning services for school design, capital construction and remodeling.
The District intends to use a qualifications based selection process as outlined in ORS 279C.110.
The District is in the process of planning for a $26 million bond on the November 8, 2016 ballot. The scope of this bond is based upon the District’s Long-Range Facilities Plan of 2012, with projects identified in April 2016, including adding air conditioning and a new wing to an historic elementary school, adding two competition-style gymnasiums, remodeling existing gyms and cafeterias at three buildings, and adding classrooms at the middle school. The District is seeking to hire an architectural firm to work in a collaborative way in the planning, design, and bidding and of the aforementioned projects.
Proposals shall be submitted to Cecelia Koontz, Business Manager, Central School District, 750 S Fifth St, Independence OR 97351, before 2:00 PM PT, October 31, 2016. Proposals will not be accepted after this hour and date.
