PUBLIC NOTICE
Public sale of surplus property, furnishings, doors, and equipment. Friday, November 4 from 10 am to 2 pm, 72 SE “C” Street, Madras. Jefferson County is selling surplus items located in the 1961 County Courthouse that is scheduled for demolition in 2017. Cash only. Some items are attached to the building structure and purchaser is responsible for removal. All items must be removed from the premises at time of sale or make acceptable arrangements with the County. Deadline for removal shall be prior to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. All sales are final and no refunds if items not removed prior to deadline. Items include (priced as marked): Wood doors with frames ($5), Steel Doors with frames ($10), 2 jail cell steel doors with frames (no keys) ($100 each), desks, book shelves, chairs, cabinets, courtroom pews, courtroom paneling ($5 per section), acoustic ceiling tiles ($1 each) and other miscellaneous items. A preview tour will occur on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
