COUNCIL CONSIDERATION OF
ORDINANCES NO. 895 and 896

The City Council of the City of Madras, Oregon, will be considering approval of proposed Ordinances No. 895 and 896 during their regularly scheduled City Council meeting on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Madras City Hall Council Chambers.
ORDINANCE NO. 895
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 713, AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE SUBDIVISION OF LAND, FOR THE PREPARATION, PROCEDURES, AND APPROVAL OF PARTITIONS, SUBDIVISIONS, AND IMPROVEMENTS IN THE INCORPORATED AREAS IN THE CITY OF MADRAS, OREGON TO CLARIFY PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT STANDARDS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
ORDINANCE NO. 896
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 864, AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING LAND USE ZONES TO REGULATE THE LOCATION OF BUILDING STRUCTURES AND THE USE OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY OF MADRAS, OREGON TO CLARIFY STANDARDS FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
A copy of the proposed ordinances will be available for review at the Madras City Hall, located at 125 S.W. ‘E’ Street, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The proposed ordinances can also be found on the City’s website at www.ci.madras.or.us .
