NOTICE OF FLOODPLAIN ALTERATION The City of Beaverton intends to issue a site development permit for the proposed Cedar Mill Creek Sanitary and Regional Stormwater Management Approach project. The project site is roughly offset from the existing trunk following the Cedar Mill Creek stream corridor between SW 170th Avenue and SW Jenkins Road and within the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) designated 100-year floodplain of Cedar Mill Creek. The work proposed within the floodplain includes sanitary sewer upgrades and implementation of floodplain enhancement actions such as the construction of floodplain side-channels, placement of large wood on the THPRD property and bank layback/floodplain bench grading that will affect flood waters during large storm events. Written appeals, based solely on anticipated adverse effects of this work, may be filed with the City Recorder on or before 5:00 PM, PDT, June 6,2021. This notice is intended to meet the requirements of Beaverton City Code, Section 9.05.085. A copy of this code and the proposed plans are available for examination at The Beaverton Building (City Hall), Community Development Department, Site Development Division, 12725 SW Millikan Way (4th Floor), Beaverton, Oregon.
