NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF BALLOT TITLE Notice is hereby given that a Prospective Petition for a local initiative was filed in the Crook County Clerk’s Office by an elector and Chief Petitioner on November 23, 2021. The prospective initiative petition complies with constitutional requirements, as required to be reviewed by the County Clerk. The ballot title has been received and shall be submitted to the qualified electors thereof: REFERRED TO THE PEOPLE OF CROOK COUNTY CROOK COUNTY MEASURE 7-76 CAPTION Prohibits Non-Disclosure of Information Relating to State Border Relocation QUESTION Shall individuals be subject to prosecution and financial penalties for hindering or denying records requests relating to state border relocation? SUMMARY Ordinance prohibits a person from hindering or failing to provide information regarding relocation of the state border when the request is made to the county government and the county government is in possession of said information. A person is not in violation of this ordinance and not required to provide information if prohibited by state or federal law. A person found to be violation of this ordinance may be subject to civil proceedings and a maximum fine of $250. Any voter may file a petition for review of this ballot title in Crook County Circuit Court no later than the end of the business day on December 17, 2021.
