ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CROOK COUNTY, OREGON CENTRAL OREGON CANAL – WEIGAND ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT – 2022 Crook County, Oregon 1306 N. Main Street Prineville, Oregon 97754 Crook County, Oregon, invites Bids for the construction of Central Oregon Canal – Weigand Road Bridge Replacement – 2022. The Work to be performed under this Contract consists of construction of a new 32-foot span precast prestressed concrete slab bridge over Central Oregon Irrigation District’s Central Oregon Canal in Crook County, located on Weigand Road. The bridge is located south of Powell Butte Road between Redmond and Prineville, Oregon, approximately 9 miles southeast of Redmond. The Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of the existing bridge, installation of approximately 90 cubic yards of structural concrete, 230 feet of precast prestressed concrete slabs, 75 feet of two tube side-mount bridge rail, 130 feet of approach guardrail, 1,200 tons of aggregate base rock, 360 tons of asphalt concrete pavement, and other Work specified and/or shown on the Drawings. Sealed Bids for the described Project will be received by Bob O’Neal, Road Master, at the Crook County Road Department, 1306 N. Main Street, Prineville, Oregon 97754, until 2:00 p.m., local time, July 28, 2022, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Contract is subject to the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law. This Project is being funded in part through the Oregon Department of Transportation State-Funded Local Project Program.
