PORT OF PORTLAND PDX NEXT GROUND SOURCE HEAT PUMP SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/GENERAL CONTRACTOR SERVICES Responses due: October 6, 2022 @ 3:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL SOLICITATION NUMBER 2022-10004 Sealed solicitations for the provision of PDX Next Ground Source Heat Pump System Construction Manager/General Contractor Services will be received via electronic submittal through the Port of Portland’s on-line Solicitation Portal located at https://pbsystem.planetbids.com/hub/login until the time and date indicated above. The Port of Portland (the Port) is soliciting proposals from experienced firms or teams of firms capable of providing construction manager/general contractor services to the Port on the PDX Next Ground Source Heat Pump System project. The services include construction of a complete ground source heat pump system, ground water extraction and injection wells, pumps, heat exchangers, heat recovery chillers, power, controls, communications, and other supporting infrastructure. The system shall be integrated with existing chillers and boilers to provide heated and chilled water to Portland International Airport for use in the HVAC system, with a much higher energy efficiency and a greatly reduced carbon footprint. The Port is conducting this procurement in accordance with OAR 137-049-0690. A virtual informational conference will be held at 10AM, on September 22, 2022, to attend, Providers must RSVP through the Port’s online bidding system no later than 24 hours before the preproposal meeting.
