NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Aurora City Hall, 21420 Main Street NE, the Aurora Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing regarding Legislative Amendment 2024-01 (File No. LA 24-01) which proposes to amend the Aurora Municipal Code and Aurora Comprehensive Plan with an updated Buildable Lands Inventory. The proposed text amendment would adopt a new Buildable Lands Inventory for employment lands and does not address residential lands.
At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the Aurora City Council regarding the proposed amendment. The City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider adoption of the proposed amendments. The City Council hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., Aurora City Hall, 21420 Main Street NE.
AMC 16.74.060 requires the recommendation by the Planning Commission and decision by the City Council shall be based on consideration of the following approval criteria:
1) Any applicable statewide planning goals and guidelines adopted under ORS Chapter 197;
2) Any federal or state statutes or rules found applicable;
3) The applicable comprehensive plan policies and map; and
4) The applicable provisions of the implementing

Please include File No. LA 24-01 in the subject line of all written comments.
One week prior to the meeting, a copy of the proposed Buildable Lands Inventory and a staff report will be available for inspection at no cost or copies may be purchased at a reasonable cost.
