Planning Commission Legislative Hearing

PUBLIC NOTICE PLANNING COMMISSION LEGISLATIVE HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That the City of Fairview Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to review a proposed zone change at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 in the Council Chambers of the Fairview City Hall, located at 1300 NE Village Street, Fairview, Oregon. Interested persons are invited to appear and testify on the proposal. Application #2019-62-ZC and Ordinance 5-2020 – An Ordinance Amending the City of Fairview Zoning Map from Agricultural Holding (AH) to General Industrial (GI) for the Port of Portland’s Troutdale Reynolds Industrial Park (TRIP) Fairview lot on the north side of NE Marine Drive, identified as Map and Tax Lot Numbers 1N3E22 -00300 and -00303. The zone change will implement the Comprehensive Plan Map designation of General Industrial for this property. The application is subject to the Type III quasi-judicial zone change process in accordance with the procedures and criteria in FMC 19.413.030, 19.470.300, and FMC 19.205 as well as the rules of procedure adopted by the Council. The Planning Commission will review the above application and make a recommendation to the City Council. The City Council will consider the Planning Commission’s recommendation at two public hearings tentatively scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 and Wednesday, March 18. The City Council may make a final decision regarding the above application at the public hearing on March 18, 2020. If City Council renders a decision, it will be mailed to anyone who submitted written comments, provided public testimony, or who is otherwise legally entitled to notice.
