Any questions or issues that may arise regarding the specifications, the bidding process, and/or the award process shall be directed to the Purchasing Specialist. The District’s official response to any questions or requests will be in writing through direct letters or the Addendum process. Invitation to Bid #: ITB-005-2020 Oregon Trail Elementary School Improvements North Clackamas School District requests bids for the above referenced project. Work of the Contract consists of Construction of building upgrades at Oregon Trail Elementary School located at 13895 SE 152nd Avenue, Clackamas, Oregon 97015, for the North Clackamas School District, as indicated on Contract Documents prepared by BBL ARCHITECTS and their consultants. Bidders may obtain electronic copies of Bidding Documents at no charge from the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) website: http://orpin.oregon.gov/open.dll/welcome Work in the Base Bid includes: The work of the Contract consists of Construction of building upgrades at the Oregon Trail Elementary School, including but not limited to carpeting, rubber base, epoxy floor covering, interior and exterior painting, pavement upgrades, DDC upgrades, replacement of operable partitions with fixed walls, new and replacement concrete walks, site drainage, generator power revisions, roof ladders, flashings and associated work. Bid Alternates include corner guards and locksets at restroom doors. Architects Estimate for the total of this project is $2,300,000. Pre-Bid meetings will be held at: Oregon Trail Elementary School on March 30, 2018 at 3:00 PM This is not a mandatory Pre-Bid meeting, but attendance is highly encouraged. Any statements made by the District’s or its representatives at the pre-bid meeting will not be binding on the District unless confirmed by Written Addendum. Protests, Technical Questions, Requests for Clarification or Changes of Specifications and/or Bidding Requirements, including Substitution Requests, must be received by the purchasing specialist in writing no later than 11:00 AM on March 16, 2020. Bidders shall comply with all BOLI and CCB requirements as adopted in Senate Bill 477 (effective January 1, 2006) including all filing, notification, and payment requirements; retainage for payment for labor, and the filing of a $30,000 public works bond with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. The Public Works Bond shall be obtained from a corporate surety authorized to do business in this state. Sealed bids shall be submitted by 2:00 PM Pacific Time, March 24, 2020 to Leif Palmer, Purchasing Specialist, North Clackamas School District, 12400 SE Freeman Way, Milwaukie, OR 97222. Bids received after this time and date will not be accepted. No faxed bids will be accepted. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter. First-tier subcontractor lists, if applicable, shall be submitted, preferably in a separate envelope, by 4:00 PM Pacific Time, on March 24, 2020. Bids received after the 2:00 PM Pacific Time submission time, and bids that are not accompanied with the required subcontractor’s list (Section 004400), if applicable, by 4:00 PM Pacific Time, will not be considered. Bid documents may be inspected at the following locations: North Clackamas School District Purchasing Department, 12400 SE Freeman Way, Milwaukie, OR 97222 (Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.).
