NEWBERG SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING NEWBERG SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Newberg School District 29J, Yamhill, Washington, and Clackamas Counties, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. The meeting will take place on Tuesday April 28, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. In response to the current health emergency resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the District facilities are currently closed to the public and meetings are being held electronically. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message, elect officers, present the proposed budget, and receive information about how the budget aligns with district goals. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained from the district website at newberg.k12.or.us. The meetings will be available for viewing via the District’s scheduled Zoom session: https://zoom.us/j/2775921575?pwd=OElvS0cwOXMzcG9KWlhqeFBEcnZ0QT09 The meetings will also be recorded and available via a link on the District website at https://www.newberg.k12.or.us/ no later than 5 business days following the meeting. Public comment will be taken in written and phone in format. Written comments received by 5 pm on April 24, 2020 will be read during the public comment section of the meeting on April 28, 2020. Comments, both written and phone in, will be subject to a three minute limit per community member.
