CITY OF DUNDEE STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS Bids due: May 13, 2020 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID Sealed quotes for the 2020 Street Projects (Job# 20002) will be received by the City of Dundee, P.O. Box 220, 620 SW Fifth Street, Dundee, Oregon 97115, until 2:00 pm on May 13, 2020. Proposals shall be in a sealed envelope clearly marked City of Dundee – 2020 Street Projects and shall be delivered to the City Hall front desk on or before the above bid date and time. No faxed or emailed bids will be considered. The Work consists of pulverizing and/or removal of existing pavement, storm inlets and piping, sub grade preparation/verification, grading, compacting and asphalt paving on existing City streets and associated work. Solicitation documents may be obtained from the City of Dundee web site at www.dundeec ity.org under the Bid Opportunities section. Please email the City Engineer at city.engineer@dundeecity.org to be placed on the plan holders list. BOLI Wage Rates will be required for all work completed as part of this project. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279.029. In determining the lowest responsible bidder, the City of Dundee will, for the purpose of awarding the Contract, add a percentage increase on the bid of a nonresident bidder equal to the percentage, if any, of the preference given to that bidder in the state in which the bidder resides. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a bid bond payable to the City of Dundee, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish separate Performance and Payment Bonds submitted on the prescribed forms for faithful performance of the Contract in the full amount of the Contract (awarded) amount.
