NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING EXEMPTION FROM COMPETITIVE BIDDING FOR A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT Milwaukie Bay Park May 6, 2020 In accordance with LCRB C-049-0600 and ORS 279C.335, this public notice is for the purpose of taking comments on the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District (NCPRD) draft findings for the approval of an exemption from competitive bidding for a public improvement (i.e., alternative contracting method), utilizing a Request for Proposal (RFP), for the selection of a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC). NCPRD’s findings supporting the use of an exemption from competitive bidding for a public improvement are on file and available for review on the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN). A recommendation for approval of NCPRD’s findings for an exemption from competitive bidding for a public improvement, utilizing a Request for Proposal process for the selection of a CM/GC, shall be submitted to the NCPRD Board, acting as the NCPRD’s Local Contract Review Board, at its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM, Pacific Time, located in the Board Room of the Public Services Building (2051 Kaen Road, Oregon City, OR 97045). Due to the COVID-19 emergency the Board will conduct their meetings remotely via Zoom.
