CITY OF HILLSBORO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CASE FILE NO.: PUD-001-20 REED’S CROSSING TOWN CENTER NORTH NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Planning Commission, through a Zoom virtual meeting at or shortly after 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 27, 2020. At this hearing, the Planning Commission will consider a request for concept plan and preliminary plat approval for a seven lot development located within the Reed’s Crossing Planned Unit Development (PUD) (Case File No.: MOD-003-17). Lot 1 of the seven lots was created under a separate partition (Case File No.: MOD-023-19) and is pending recordation at Washington County. This application will serve as the planning and urban design framework for the northern portion of a future mixed-use town center. Proposed site improvements will set circulation patterns for vehicles, bicycles, pedestrian and utilities and a proposed Major Adjustment to street frontage Active Use designations. A mix of uses is planned in the Town Center and lot specific development will be reviewed in future Development Review applications. The property owner and applicant is GLC South Hillsboro, LLC, represented by Mimi Doukas, AKS Engineering and Forestry. The subject property is specifically identified as Tax Lot 100 on Washington County Assessor’s Tax Map 1S2-11CB and is generally located north of SE Blanton Street, south of SE Tualatin Valley Highway, east of SW 229th Avenue and west of SE Cornelius Pass Road. The applicable approval criteria for a PUD application may be found in in Section 12.80.120 of the Community Development Code (CDC) and in Section 12.80.156 for Major Adjustments. ORS 197.763 provides that under certain circumstances, the record may remain open or a continuance may be granted upon the request of a participant. Telephone conversations cannot be accepted as testimony. Please reference the Case File No. on all written testimony.
