EUGENE WATER & ELECTRIC BOARD (EWEB) FINISHED WATER PUMP STATION VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE REPLACEMENT Proposals due: June 16, 2020 @ 2:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP #20-099-GS The Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) requests proposals from Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) manufacturers and manufacturer’s distributors interested in providing a manufacturer-approved solution, to replace seven (7), Allen Bradley, 1336 Plus II VFD’s. Replacement VFD’s shall be component-for-component, module-for-module identical, with identical wiring to/from the modular VFD system, wiring of the door mounted operator interface, operators and lights, as well as all wiring within the VFD system enclosures. Proposals shall be submitted to Tracy Davis, Purchasing Analyst, Roosevelt Operations Center, 4200 Roosevelt Blvd., Eugene, OR 97402, before 2:00 PM, June 16, 2020. Proposals will not be accepted after this hour and date. RFP documents may be downloaded from the State of Oregon’s bid site (ORPIN): https://orpin.oregon.gov. A voluntary pre-proposal meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m., on May 28, 2020, at EWEB’s Hayden Bridge Filtration Plant, 3957 Hayden Bridge Road, Springfield, Oregon. The meeting will give interested parties an opportunity to assess the physical characteristics of the pump station, its entrances, and the existing VFD package dimensions. Proposers are strongly encouraged to attend, but proposals will be accepted from proposers who do not attend. All proposals shall be submitted as set forth in Section 1 – Instructions to Proposers. EWEB is not responsible for proposals submitted in any manner, format or to any delivery point other than as required by the Solicitation Document. No proposal may be withdrawn after the hour set for the opening thereof until the elapse of thirty (30) days from the date and time set for opening. EWEB reserves the right to waive any or all informalities and irregularities; may cancel the Request for Proposals; and may reject any or all proposals pursuant to EWEB Rule 3-0640.
