PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE A Public Hearing has been scheduled before the City of Madras Planning Commission to receive testimony or comments regarding the Major Variance application (File #: V-20-2) submitted by the City of Madras on behalf of Tim and Mary Kendall to exceed the maximum floor area (950 square feet) of an Accessory Structure by 778 square feet. The subject property is identified as Tax Lot 103 on Jefferson County Assessor’s Map No. 11-13-12AD. The property is zoned Single-Family Residential (R-1). STANDARDS AND APPLICABLE CRITERIA: These land use applications will be reviewed using the criteria for subdivision approval in the following sections of the City of Madras Zoning Ordinance No. 864: Article 10 – Exceptions and Variances; Article 9 – Administrative Provisions. Failure to raise an issue in person at the hearing or in writing precludes appeal by that person to the Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA).
