METRO ABOVE GROUND DIESEL TANK Bids due: June 18, 2020 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID ITB 3837 Metro is inviting bids to provide and install an above ground diesel tank at Metro Central Waste Transfer Station. The project consists of providing and installing an above ground 550 gallon diesel fuel storage tank with day tank and pumping system per the drawings and specifications included in the ITB. The system shall be connected to an existing emergency generator. Bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m. June 18, 2020 in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3837. Responses will be opened publicly at that time. A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on June 4, 2020 . Individual contractors can bring up to 3 people to the site for a scheduled 30 minute site walk. All people must wear masks and remain at least 6 feet from each other. Times can be scheduled starting at 9:00am and repeating every 30 minutes until 2:00pm at 6161 NW 61st Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97210. To schedule a 30 minute window, contact Bob McMillan at bob.mcmillan@oregonmetro.gov. Time slots will be provided on a first to request basis. All bidders submitting a bid for public improvements over $50,000 certify that they will pay and comply with the minimum prevailing wage requirements of ORS 279C.800-279C.870 and if applicable 40 U.S.C.276a. Solicitation documents can be viewed and downloaded from the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) at http://orpin.oregon.gov/open.dll/ Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
