Late Bids will not be accepted. Bids shall be clearly labeled: SOUTH REDMOND WATER FACILITIES PROJECT – WELL 8 CONSTRUCTION AND TESTING, and delivered or mailed to Brian Vinson, Assistant Project Manager at 3841 Fairview Industrial Drive SE, Suite 150, Salem, OR 97302. No faxed or electronic (email) submissions will be accepted. Please note that Bids will not be opened and read aloud immediately after the deadline. Bidders will be notified of the results by email within 24 hours of bid closing. First tier subcontractor list is required to be submitted the same day as the Bid by 4:00 pm (The first tier subcontractor list may also be submitted with the Bid at the contractor’s option). PROJECT SCOPE: The Project involves drilling, constructing, and testing (1) drinking water well (City of Redmond Well 8). The Engineer’s estimate range for this package is $1,500,000.00 – $2,500,000.00. All workmanship, materials, and conditions shall conform to the 2010 City of Redmond Public Works Standards and Specifications, current special provisions, General Conditions and Supplementary Conditions. BIDDING DOCUMENTS: The invitation to bid, contract documents, other related project documents, addenda, and plan holders list are available by sending an email to Brian Vinson at Brian.Vinson@emeryandsons.com. The bidding documents will be provided via ShareFile link. INTENT TO RESPOND: Subcontractors interested in submitting a Bid for this project must submit a Notice of Intent to Bid by sending an email to Brian Vinson at Brian.Vinson@em eryandsons.com. Subcontractors are to provide the name, phone number, and email for the purposes of electronic information sharing during the bid period. Subcontractors that failure to provide such notice may be considered non-responsive. PRE-BID MEETING: A mandatory on-site pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on June 29, 2020. The work site is located northwest of the intersection of SW Reservoir Drive and SW Volcano Avenue in Redmond, Oregon (see Exhibit A).
