METRO HALL E LOWER ROOFS RESTORATION AT PORTLAND EXPO CENTER Bids due: August 13, 2020 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID ITB 3851 Metro is inviting bids to restore several sections of roof on the Portland Expo Center Hall E. Contractor is to provide all equipment, labor and ancillary materials necessary for the application of the owner furnished contractor installed (OFCI) Tremco AlphaGuard Roofing System materials. The project consists of following Tremco guidelines to fully restore the existing combined areas at Portland’s Expo Hall E south and north flat lower roofs equaling 21,355s.f., as defined in the solicitation document. Bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m. August 13, 2020 in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3851. Responses will be opened publicly at that time. A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on the afternoon of August 5, 2020 at Expo (in front of the Hall D Lobby) located at 2020 N Marine Dr, Portland OR 97217. Because of the State of Oregon’s social distancing policy, no more than 10 people are allowed to tour the site at one time. Each potential bidder is limited to one attendee. All attendees shall bring personal protective equipment (close-toed shoes, safety vest, hard hat, eye protection and a face mask). The conference will be held at 1:00 pm. Attendance will be per RSVP. If the first conference fills up we will hold another at 2:00 pm. All bidders submitting a bid for public improvements over $50,000 certify that they will pay and comply with the minimum prevailing wage requirements of ORS 279C.800-279C.870 and if applicable 40 U.S.C.276a.
