PUBLIC NOTICE CROOK COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING Notice is hereby given that the Crook County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 to consider the following: Comprehensive Plan Amendment to Document Goal 3 Exception West Prineville Solar Facility Crook County – Record number 217-20-000720-PLNG – is requesting a comprehensive plan amendment to document the findings of fact and statement of reasons in support of an exception to Statewide Planning Goal 3 (Agricultural Lands) for a commercial solar facility on more than 320 acres as required by Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR 660-033) and OAR 660-04. The property is identified as Township 15 S, Range 15 E WM, tax lots 2400 and 3000. A notice of public hearing and location maps are being mailed to all affected property owners, and to the appropriate entities and public agencies at least 20 days prior to the Planning Commission hearing. The hearing is being held pursuant to Crook County Code 18.170. Written testimony may be submitted to the Crook County Community Development Department, 300 NE 3rd Street, Room 12, Prineville, Oregon 97754, prior to 4:00 p.m. on September 2, 2020, or by email (plan@co.crook.or.us).
