Portland Public Schools Intent to Establish a Brand Name Product Specification: In compliance with PPS-49-0870(3) and ORS 279C.345(2), Portland Public Schools, School District No. 1J, Multnomah County, Oregon (PPS) intends to exempt Drinking Water Stations from the requirements of Public Purchasing Rule PPS-49-0870(1) and establish a brand name specification for Drinking Water Stations. PPS may use this specification through January 1, 2025. PPS intends to establish as the District standard of design, Elkay EZH20 Drinking Water Station Models VRCDWS (cooler), VRCTLDDWSC (cooler), and VRCWSX (bottle filler) Vandal-Resistant & Bi-Level ADA Stainless Bottle Filling Station. PPS intends to specify Elkay EZH20 Drinking Water Stations when purchasing new drinking water stations for installations, major renovations, and at its option, for existing applications.
