NOTICE OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ ELECTION The Central Oregon Irrigation District will be accepting nominations for two positions on its Board of Directors: — Division 1 from the Terrebonne/North Redmond Area — Division 5 from the Powell Butte Area The term for Divisions 1 and 5 is for three years beginning on January 1st, 2021. The term Qualifications are as follows: must be at least 18 years of age, must be the owner of property within the Division, must live within the State of Oregon and must submit a petition signed by 10 qualified voters within the Division to the District office no later than 4:00 P.M. on October 6, 2020. Nomination petitions can be obtained from the District office. If only one petition is received for a Division, the petitioner will be certified as having been nominated and elected for that Division. The receipt of two or more petitions for the Division will require an official election to be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. The election will be a vote-by-mail.
