Planning Commission to hold a Public Hearing

PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Estacada Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 25, 2021, beginning at 7:00 pm in the Estacada City Council Chambers, Estacada, Oregon, to consider the following application: ________________________________________ To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect our community, the City of Estacada will be holding public meetings virtually. Everyone is encouraged to attend online or by phone. Written testimony must be submitted by 4:00 pm to the City Recorder on the date of the meeting. The applicant, William Hilands, is proposing a 3-lot industrial partition of the property described as Tax Lot 34E 17 2900. The subject property is located in the M-1 Light Industrial Zone. This application is subject to the approval criteria in Estacada Municipal Code chapters 16.39, 16.116, and 16.120, and applicable policies in the Estacada Comprehensive Plan. The Planning Commission’s decision may be appealed to City Council in accordance with Estacada Municipal Code chapter 16.132. Subdivision # 2021-02-S. The applicant, Brett Grantham, Greentown Builders LLC, is proposing a 112-lot subdivision of the four properties described as Tax Lots 34E 17D 600, 1500, 1501, and 1901. The subject properties are located in the NCR North City Residential and CMU Central Mixed Use Zones. This application is subject to the approval criteria in Estacada Municipal Code chapters 16.25, 16.37, 16.108, 16.116, and 16.118, and applicable policies of the Estacada Comprehensive Plan. The Planning Commission will forward a recommendation to City Council, who will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 12th at 7:00pm. Anyone wishing to present written testimony on this proposed action may do so in writing prior to or at the Public Hearing. Testimony and evidence must be directed toward the applicable approval criteria or other criteria, which a person believes to apply to the decision. Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, in person, or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal of the Commission’s decision based upon that issue. A copy of the application and applicable criteria is available for inspection at no cost in the City Recorder’s Office at City Hall. Copies of the document will be provided at reasonable cost. A copy of the City’s staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven days prior to the Public Hearing.
