PUBLIC HEARING ITEM You are invited to attend public hearings before Tigard Planning Commission and Tigard City Council on the proposal described below. In accordance with the City of Tigard’s Emergency Declaration related to COVID-19 and Governor Brown’s Executive Order 20-16, the public hearing on this application before Planning Commission will be held virtually, and it is possible that the City Council hearing may be as well. If you wish to provide comments at a virtual public hearing, the City will provide a call-in number to receive oral testimony during the hearing. Additional information and call-in procedures will be provided on the meeting agenda. DCA2021-00001 PROPOSAL: Development Code Amendment proposal to modify the location and size of the Subdistrict that allows Motor Vehicle Sales/Rental in the WSRC Plan District (Chapter 18.670 of the Community Development Code of the City of Tigard). This amendment, if approved, would reduce the overall Subdistrict area by 79.72 acres, resulting in Motor Vehicle Sales/Rental being allowed on one (1) property east of Highway 217 on Greenburg Road, and five (5) properties west of Highway 217 on Cascade Avenue. This amendment would also require all vehicle sales and rental inventory and vehicle service areas to be contained inside a building. LOCATIONS: See attached map. ZONE: MUC: Mixed-Use Commercial.
