NOTICE CITY OF BEAVERTON BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETINGS INCLUDING PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE CITY’S ANNUAL BUDGET AND FOR USES OF REVENUE SHARING FUNDS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Budget Committee of the City of Beaverton, Oregon, will hold public meetings Thursday, May 20, Monday, May 24 and Thursday, May 27. The meetings will be held at 6:00 p.m. The City will be utilizing video conferencing technology to hold the meetings remotely, and the link and agenda for each meeting will be posted prior to each meeting at: https://www.beavertonoregon.gov/281/Budget-Committee. The purpose of the meetings will be for receiving, considering and discussing the budget message and the proposed City of Beaverton Budget for the fiscal year 2021-22 beginning July 1, 2021, the proposed uses of Revenue Sharing Funds and taking public comment. Oregon Local Budget Law typically requires the City to permit any person to appear in person to ask questions about and comment on the budget or any part of it. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Budget Committee will no longer permit members of the public to attend in person.
