Public Notice- Public hearing on extending solid waste collection

PUBLIC NOTICE On September 21, 2021 at approximately 3pm via zoom-www.greshamoregon.gov/agendas . the Gresham City Council will hold a public hearing on extending solid waste collection licenses for Gresham Sanitary Service, Hoodview Disposal & Recycling, Rockwood Solid Waste, Waste Connections of Oregon (dba Arrow Sanitary), and Waste Management of Oregon. The proposal would extend each solid waste collection license for residential, commercial services, and drop box services to October 8, 2028. The packet will be available on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. The website is www.greshamoregon.gov/agenda – as of 2:00PM or may be requested by contacting Shannon Martin, Recycling & Solid Waste Program Manager, at 503-618-2624 or Shannon.Martin@greshamoregon.gov. Any interested person may provide testimony on the proposed extensions to Council during the public hearing provided they notify the City Recorder by 3 PM on Monday, September 20, 2021 via email at Susanjoy.Wright@greshamoregon.gov.
