NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

METRO EAST WEB ACADEMY (MEWA) NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Metro East Web Academy (MEWA) Local Contract Review Board will hold a public hearing for the purpose of taking comments on draft findings for an exemption from competitive bidding requirements as outlined in ORS 279C-335. The exemption, if approved, would authorize MEWA to enter into a contract for additional HVAC and related structural and architectural improvements related to COVID with the Contractor that performed prior improvements in 2020. The hearing to consider the proposed exemption will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at MEWA 50 NW 5th Street Gresham, OR 97030. Adoption of the draft findings would authorize MEWA to enter into a contract with the contractor for the desired work. Interested persons may comment orally or in writing at the above hearing or may submit written comments prior to the hearing.
