NOTICE OF JEFFERSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION HEARINGS CASEFILES 21-CU-02 and 21-CU-03 The Jefferson County Planning Commission has scheduled two public hearings to take public testimony on two proposed projects in Jefferson County. Casefile 21-CU-02 is a request to receive a conditional use permit approval to develop a 4.78-acre Rangeland zoned parcel into a campground with a total of 28 RV and tent sites with the potential to expand to 36 sites in the future. The property is described as T12, R12, S19, Tax Lot 200 in Culver and owned by FlexStay NW Rentals, LLC. Casefile 21-CU-03 is a request to receive a conditional use permit approval for developing a 17-acre ground mounted photovoltaic solar facility on a portion of EFU A-1 zoned property identified as T12, R12, S24, Tax Lot 400. The facility is proposed by West Culver Solar, LLC and would be located on the corner of 5815 SW Iris Lane and SW Green Drive in Culver on property owned by the Pewonka Family Trust. The hearings will be held on October 14, 2021, at 5:30 pm in the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners meeting room located at 66 SE D Street, Madras, OR.
